Remote within US/Canada

We’re looking for a remote senior full stack engineer with several years experience building high-quality, modern web apps. As part of the early team, you'll have a lot of control over architecture decisions and product direction.

We care about writing clean, scalable code that is a pleasure to work with. We're constantly refactoring and improving the codebase to improve developer experience.

We also value engineers who can write well. Our team works heavily over Slack and Notion. We believe it’s important for the team to write content about the product we’re building.

The product

Basedash is a modern admin panel that connects to your database to provide an interface to manage production data. Our users are typically non-technical teams like Support and Operations that need to have access to live data to manage things like users and workspaces.

What you’ll do

We’re an early stage startup, so you’ll get to work on a multitude of different projects. Some of the work you might be tackling includes:

• Building an abstraction layer over different data sources and integrations (SQL databases, NoSQL databases, public APIs)
• Building integrations with popular tools like Slack, Zapier, and Linear
• Building a no-code workflow builder
• Adding real-time collaboration to more aspects of the product
• Open-sourcing standalone features of the product
• Writing technical blog posts about your work

Tech

Basedash is a modern TypeScript monorepo. We don’t expect you to have a background in everything we use, but we do expect strong JavaScript, React, and database fundamentals.
